A local traffic stop led to a drug seizure on the morning of Sept. 9.
According to a press release from Airdrie RCMP, a local police officer stopped a vehicle with no tail lights around 3:20 a.m.
"The officer was simply going to tell the driver to turn her lights on, however upon contact, he made observations that led to an arrest for drug possession," the release stated.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of various quantities of marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl and Xanax.
Elizabeth Quinn, 25, of Edmonton now faces charges for possession of property obtained by crime and possession for the purpose of trafficking. Quinn was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Airdrie Provincial Court Oct. 29.
