A number of items from City council's March 16 agenda were delayed, “based on priority and based on the current circumstances,” according to Mayor Peter Brown. These have been postponed to a future meeting, he said – likely the next meeting of council.

“Those are the municipal census and citizen satisfaction survey, the Social Policy to support the social well-being of Airdrie residents, and Genesis Place passes [discounts for veterans],” he said.

Additionally, a presentation regarding the discharge of consumer fireworks in Airdrie, including a possible permitting process, was tabled until a later date.
