Airdrie RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with a theft.

On Jan. 14, a wallet was stolen from a parked car located on Channelside Way, according to a release from the detachment. At around 9 p.m. following evening, a man made a purchase at the Canna Cananna store on Mackenzie Way using a bank card that RCMP said had been in the stolen wallet.

The suspect is described as an approximately 25-year-old Caucasian, and was wearing a black winter jacket with fur-tipped hood.

If you have information regarding this crime or can identify the suspect, contact the detachment at 403-945-7200 or your local police. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, online at P3Tips.com or the “P3 Tips” app available through Apple App or the Google Play Store.
