Airdrie RCMP seeking help to identify suspects in recent thefts

Airdrie RCMP officers are seeking public assistance in identifying the two male suspects responsible for a theft from a motor vehicle this weekend, as well as theft from a construction site.

Airdrie RCMP officers are seeking public assistance in identifying the two male suspects responsible for a theft from a motor vehicle this weekend, as well as theft from a construction site.

The detachment stated two male suspects gained entry to a parked vehicle on Bayside Drive on June 6 at approximately 4:45 a.m. According to a press release, the suspects stole approximately $1,000 worth of valuables from the vehicle before fleeing the scene in a newer model silver Ford Focus.

“The same vehicle was later caught on video at 5:46 a.m. in the Coopers Cove [area], where they stole an estimated $5,000 worth of tools from a home under construction,” the release stated.

The first suspect is described as a non-Caucasian male with dark hair, who was wearing red pants with white stripes down the leg and a grey sweater or jacket with black arms. The second suspect is also described as a non-Caucasian male with dark, shaggy hair. He wore lighter pants and a black hoodie or jacket.
