Airdrie RCMP has released a surveillance photo to the public to aid its investigation into an armed robbery that occurred last month at the Fas Gas Plus at 128 Main Street.
The robbery occurred Dec. 12, 2020, at approximately 9 p.m., when a lone male entered the Fas Gas Plus convenience store and approached the employee at the till. According to RCMP, the suspect pointed a firearm at the employee and then fled the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
"Police dog services were engaged, however the suspect was not locate," stated an RCMP press release.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned male in his 20s, standing approximately 5'7" tall with an average build.
