Airdrie Rural RCMP are currently on scene at a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 2, just north of Township Road 274, in the southbound lanes, where a vehicle has reportedly collided with a snow plow.
"An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist is en-route," the detachment stated in a press release. "Traffic is backed up considerably and is expected to be for some time."
An update will be sent when the scene is clear, according to RCMP.
