Just days after a 30-vehicle pile-up on Highway II, the Airdrie RCMP are currently on scene at another motor vehicle collision near Carstairs.
A Jan. 30 press released indicated RCMP officers are currently on scene at a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway II in the south-bound lanes, south of the Carstairs overpass.
"At this time, traffic is not moving," stated the press release, which was sent shortly after 9 a.m.
RCMP are asking motorists to avoid the area as the highway will be impassable for some time. An update will be sent when further information becomes available.
