Airdrie RCMP investigating liquor store theft

Airdrie RCMP is asking for public assistance in identifying two males responsible for a Sept. 7 theft.

According to a press release from the detachment, at approximately 9:10 p.m., two males entered the Railway Gate Co-Op liquor store, located on Midtown Boulevard. Surveillance video shows them taking roughly $200 worth of liquor and placing it in a blue reusable bag before exiting the store without paying.

The first suspect is described as having an average build, being of East Indian descent and approximately 30 years old. He wore a face mask, dark hoodie and dark pants.

The second suspect was also described as being of East Indian descent and approximately 30 years old, with a slim build and a short beard. He wore a white T-shirt, grey sweat pants and black shoes.
