Airdrie RCMP officers are investigating a liquor store theft that took place on New Year's Eve. On Dec. 31, 2020 at approximately 5 p.m.

Airdrie RCMP officers are investigating a liquor store theft that took place on New Year's Eve.

On Dec. 31, 2020 at approximately 5 p.m., according to the detachment, a male and female entered the Real Canadian Liquor Store at 300 Veterans Boulevard, where they proceeded to take more than $300 worth of liquor from the shelves and leave without paying for it.

According to a press release, the male is described as a short Caucasian in his 40s with short, dark hair. He wore a black jacket, camouflage pants, black boots and glasses. His accomplice is described as a Caucasian in her 40s with shoulder-length black hair. The release stated she wore a black jacket, blue jeans, black boots and carried a black bag.
