Airdrie police investigate liquor store theft

Airdrie RCMP are asking for the public's assistance to identify two men who stole liquor from the Real Canadian Liquor Store on Veterans Boulevard March 9.

According to an RCMP press release, the first suspect is described as a Middle Eastern man in his 30s, with dark, scruffy facial hair. At the time of the incident he is described as wearing a black jacket, red plaid shirt, black sunglasses and a white-and-black hat.

The second suspect – a man also of Middle Eastern decent in his 30s – is described as having a short, dark coloured beard and was wearing a grey sweatshirt, dark shirt, dark sunglasses and a blue hat.

The suspects are alleged to have stolen $200 worth of liquor from the store.
