Dear Editor, As a former board chair of the Rocky View West Recreation Board (RVWRB), I am truly dismayed at the treatment of the current board chair, Pam Janzen by our Division 2 Coun. Kim McKylor.

Dear Editor, It would be great to see a section in the local newspaper include ways to keep our city clean. It has caught my attention that the litter throughout this area has been increasing.

Dear Editor, Thorlakson Nature’s Call, a composting facility located east of Airdrie, has made an application for a Development Permit (DP) to expand their operation.

Dear Editor, I was born six miles east of Airdrie, just off of the Yankee Valley Road, which my Mom Isobelle Nixdorf named. I have lived in Alberta all of my life and currently live east of Airdrie, not far from where I was born.

Dear Editor, Since my wife and I moved into our new home in Airdrie in 2009, we have done extensive work in our backyard, requiring hundreds of hours of sweat and thousands of dollars.

Dear Editor, It’s a sad, sad state of affairs when the Alberta voter’s only choice at the polls is to put a check mark next to the name of “anybody other than a candidate from the current NDP leadership.
