Dear editor, I am a member of the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board in the town of Crossfield. In Crossfield, the Municipal Planning Commission (community volunteers) approves or denies all development permits.

Re: “Bike unit to patrol Airdrie’s parks, pathways this summer,” June 18 Dear editor, The Airdrie/Crossfield & District Youth Justice Committee wants to show appreciation to the youth of our communities.

Re: “Mayor asks Airdrie to be patient with growth,” June 25 Dear editor, I take exception to the mayor’s comment that Airdrie’s growth has been phenomenal. In my opinion, a much more accurate description would be out of control and mismanaged.
