Unreliable mail service for Keoma residents

Dear Editor, Canada Post's mandate is to deliver the mail in a timely manner. Keoma is the exception, we guess. No formal notice or publication was given. A vague address question six months ago was it. We complied, and it made no difference.

Dear Editor, Canada Post's mandate is to deliver the mail in a timely manner. Keoma is the exception, we guess. No formal notice or publication was given. A vague address question six months ago was it. We complied, and it made no difference. If we want mail, then we get to drive 100 kilometres, return trip, to insist they check and double check in order to get any mail at Airdrie. No newspapers, no flyers (sorry, advertisers). Did they hire extra staff? Did they update the “case” for our mail delivery person, in order to make the transition easier? It makes no difference to us if they are on strike, because we don't get service, anyway. After they announced that all sick leave, etc., is cancelled – including for surgery – it's not hard to understand why they are striking. Diane Botsford Keoma
