Dear editor,
To the residents of the town of Crossfield: In regards to the notice of vote on a bylaw question – Local Authorities Election Act, Sections 7, 12, 35, 46 – I feel that someone should speak up on the matter regarding the location for the new Town civic building.
It seems very odd to see that the present location was left off the choices and the Banta Park was left on. Is it not true that more than 800 people were in opposition to the park location, which was to be left as is as town recreation?
Does it seem democratic to you as a resident of the town of Crossfield?
Is the Town council listening to its people or just doing as it pleases?
