The 2012 Airdrie Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research was a resounding success. The donations totalled close to $10,000, a 50 per cent increase over previous amounts.
On behalf of the Airdrie volunteer committee, I am extending a sincere thank you to you and your organization for supporting this worthwhile cause.
The article was superb and garnered at least five volunteers. Hopefully, we can continue to count on your support in the years ahead.
Research dollars have made a huge impact in the fight against cancer. It was Terry (Fox’s) dream that every man, woman and child step up in order to outrun this dreaded disease.
Here in Airdrie we still have a long way to go but are certainly headed in the right direction.
