The botched firearms regulation was a great waste of Rocky View County resources and a clear picture of a dysfunctional council.
Resources are scarce and should be managed carefully and with respect. The fact that the signs are still up indicates there is no manpower available. One wonders what the total cost of this imbroglio will be.
In the meantime, the signs I pass going into Elbow Valley every day remind me who not to vote for. I believe only Jerry Gautreau voted against the foolishness.
We Springbank residents learned how to work together to defeat an incumbent April 16. We are still organized and can focus on Divisions 9, 8 and 3 where a trio of councillors (Kevin Hanson, Samanntha Wright, and Crystal Kissel) are causing problems for the balance of council.
