Big Springs Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd.

Big Springs Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd.

A finalist for the 2020 Legacy Business Award, Big Springs Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is a locally owned and operated business that has served Airdrie and surrounding areas since 1980, specializing in residential and commercial repairs, renovations and new installations.

From its origin, Big Springs has consistently been family owned and operated. It began as a small home-based business in 1980 with one Owner/Operator, Gus Gauthier, primarily servicing small town Airdrie. It wasn’t until the mid-90's that Gus’s oldest sons started to work for the company. All four of Gus’s sons obtained their plumbing and gas tickets while working for the family business.

The turn of the millennium brought on board the two youngest sons, Matt and Mike, who currently own and operate the company. The business now operates from an office in southeast Airdrie and has a staff of twelve dedicated employees who live in or around the Airdrie area.

Big Springs is very proud to be part of Airdrie’s business community and we continue to reciprocate the support that we have received for so many years from all our loyal customers and businesses. We take pride in the long-standing relationships that we have built in our community over the past 40 years and the amazing people that we have met along the way.
Brokerlink Airdrie

Brokerlink Airdrie

For more than 15 years, BrokerLink has been proud to help the Airdrie community find the personal or business insurance policies they need.

“We find insurance that fits you. We are here to keep you and your families safe and protected, providing peace of mind,” says Kristen Moran, Branch Manager. “We make buying insurance easier by providing competitive quotes to help find the right coverage at the best rate possible. We are proud to serve and support the members of this great community.”

Unlike working with an agent, brokers shop the market on your behalf. Insurance is available in two ways: an agent can sell the products of the company they work for, or a broker can get quotes from a wide variety of companies and compare them on your behalf. While both methods have their advantages, the difference in using a broker is choice. You speak with the broker about your full range of needs. Then the broker contacts several insurance agencies, gets the quotes, compares the rates, terms, conditions, and exclusions, and then presents the ideal one for your consideration. You save time and have an expert insurance professional on your side.

Experience the difference today. Visit to learn more or visit one of the two BrokerLink locations in Airdrie.

General Manager Glenn Smaha, who has been working in the auto industry for more than 30 years, notes, “The nomination affirms that we have been doing the right things.
