Tues. Mar 23: 50/50 Raffle Winner of $6,180

After the Home Hardware Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship narrowed down the field to the top eight contenders on Tuesday evening, Jennifer Kohle celebrated a big win of her own. Congratulations Jennifer, for winning $6,180 in Curling Alberta’s 50/50 raffle, presented by Boston Pizza.

“Hey, I won!” exclaimed Jennifer when she double checked her tickets against the winning number posted on Curling Alberta’s website. “This morning I was so shocked, I took a picture of the winning ticket number and the purchase confirmation to email my husband to tell him that I thought I won.”

Originally from Saskatchewan, Jennifer and her husband moved to Alberta 19 years ago. “Growing up in small town Saskatchewan, curling was one of the things we did throughout high school,” said Jennifer. “I participated in a league in the evening and on weekends. It was a lot of fun.”

Jennifer lives in Calgary with her husband and two cats. She works as a Corporate Paralegal and is looking ahead to days when they can get back to traveling. They enjoy visiting the mountains whenever possible and particularly enjoy heading to Banff or Waterton for the day.
