What a fantastic way to kickstart Curling Alberta’s 50/50 Raffle, presented by Boston Pizza! Congratulations to L. Landry as the first big cash prize winner, taking home $9475.
With two siblings as avid curlers, long-time curling fan L. Landry decided to join the Sturling League at Cochrane Curling Club four years ago with a friend. Over the years, Landry has spent countless hours watching curling on television, so much so, she admits, it drives her family crazy. “I just love it,” she laughed.
Landry intends to share her winnings with her family and plans for a weekend getaway are in the works. With her passion for supporting curling, there are definitely more 50/50 raffle tickets in her future as she gears up to watch all of Curling Canada’s 2021 Hub City series events. “I am just so happy for all the curlers in Canada,” said Landry.
Every day is a new draw and a new chance to win BIG. 50/50 tickets are available each day of the 2021 Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Tickets can be purchased from 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM MST and can be purchased here. (LL#570519)
