Since kicking off our 33rd year in October, our club has been busy with monthly meetings, working with our beef projects, project weigh-ins, volunteering for set-up and take-down at the Crossfield Farmers Market, and volunteering by sorting and filling the Crossfield Christmas food hampers. 

“My father in law played every day of his life from the time he was about eight years old. He lived to be 92, and he never had one – and never saw one either.”

“This grant is really contributing to the heart of our community,” said Crossfield mayor Kim Harris.

Students of W.G. Murdoch School's drama department put on a rousing iteration of 'Little Shop of Horrors' on April 4 in the Crossfield-based school's gymnasium. The school is hosting another showing of the springtime production tonight, at 6:30 p.m.

"In some cases, suspects damaged the vehicles to gain entry," the release stated.

ACTS (Artists of the Crossfield Theatre Society) put on two showings of its original play 'Objectionable Conduct' on March 24 and 25. The courthouse comedy included some audience participation, good food and good fun.

Crossfield business ‘The Donut Man’ has made a special ribbon doughnut in honour of the two Edmonton police officers, Const. Travis Jordan and Const. Brett Ryan, who were killed on March 16.

“We just want to keep pumping out music because for a while there were several road bumps that kind of slowed things down,” he confessed.  

Young and old alike had a great time at Crossfield's annual February Food Fest on Feb. 25.

Price said the play includes plenty of jokes about the community and references that perhaps only a Crossfieldian would relate to.
