My name is Bailee Habberfield and this is my seventh year with the Crossfield-Madden 4-H Beef Club. I would like to inform readers of the Rocky View Weekly about our upcoming events. Our club's annual Achievement Day will take place May 21 at Havens Area, west of Crossfield. At this event, our members will be showing off their projects. There will be a wide variety of projects on display, including steers, heifers, and cow/calf pairs.
The members are very excited for this day to come, as they have been working hard to prepare for the show – and other shows to come. The following weekend is our 4-H On Parade, to be held May 26 to 29. This will be the first year back at 4-H On Parade in a few years. The weekend gives our members a chance to spend time together, have fun, show their animals and sell their steers. The heifer and steer shows will be on Friday and Saturday, and the steer sale on the Sunday.
