On Dec. 10, the Airdrie Techmation Thunder junior B hockey team presented Community Links with 26 stockings to be distributed to children and youth in Airdrie who are in need this holiday season.
According to Community Links community engagement co-ordinator Laurie Jacob-Toews, the stockings were put together through the generous support of Techmation Electric, Blunston Dental, Jim Hassett (Hassett & Reid), My Secondhand Store, as well as the members of the team.
Staff from Community Links were on hand to accept the donation at Techmation Electric's office in southeast Airdrie.
