Airdrie-based film production company Crooked Cinema recently wrapped up filming three pilot episodes for its new game show: Rental Rewind.
The locally shot game show pits film buffs against each other to answer trivia questions pertaining to movies from the 1980s to the 2000s.
As part of the game, teams of three contestants were required to complete trivia questions, mini-games, and wager points to collect five VHS tapes necessary to win the game and showcase their movie trivia know-how.
The three pilot episodes – which featured local contestants such as Coun. Tina Petrow – are set to air on TELUS Optik TV later this year.
