Bert Church High School's annual hockey game between students and faculty was rebranded this year to memorialize and honour Norm Cobble, a long-serving teacher at the school who passed away last spring. Students and teachers vied for bragging rights at Genesis Place on Nov. 25.

After a hard-fought battle, the teachers eventually took the win, with some help from Calgary Flames Alumni members.

The game doubled as a fundraising effort for the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation. In the lead-up to the game, the student team's players managed to raise more than $5,000 for the organization.
