It's spring and Three Pines is reemerging after a harsh winter.

As the villagers prepare for a special celebration, Armand Gamache and Jean-Guy Beauvoir find themselves increasingly worried.  A young man and woman have reappeared in the Sûreté du Québec investigators' lives after many years.

The two were young children when their troubled mother was murdered, leaving them damaged and shattered. Gamache and Beauvoir's memories of that tragic case, the one that first brought them together, come rushing back.

As Chief Inspector Gamache works to uncover answers, his alarm grows when a letter written by a long dead stone mason is discovered. In it, the man describes his terror when bricking up an attic room somewhere in the village.

When the room is found, the villagers decide to open it up. As the bricks are removed, Gamache, Beauvoir and the villagers discover a world of curiosities.

Beyond the Wand: the Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard

Tom Felton

From Borrower to wizard, Tom Felton's childhood was anything but ordinary. Even as his parents' skepticism coloured his early forays into acting, his childhood passion for performance buoyed him through a few inauspicious false starts, and he began booking major roles, rubbing shoulders with the likes of 007 and Hannibal Lecter.

It wasn't until he landed the role of Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter's Slytherin supervillain, that he was catapulted into the limelight at just 12 years old.

With candour and his own trademark humour, Tom shares his experience of growing up on screen and as part of the wizarding world for the very first time.  He shares all about the Harry Potter auditioning process, his big break and the lasting friendships he made during 10 years of part of the franchise, as well as the highs and lows of worldwide fame and the reality of navigating adult life after filming finished.

From flying lessons to run-ins with Death Eaters, prepare to meet a real-life wizard in these pages.
