Airdrie RCMP investigating bear spray assault

Airdrie RCMP are currently seeking two males who are suspected of assaulting an individual with bear spray on Dec. 30.

Airdrie RCMP are currently seeking two males who are suspected of assaulting an individual with bear spray on Dec. 30.

According to an official press release, Airdrie RCMP responded to a complaint of an assault with a weapon when a property rep at an apartment complex on Tower Lane Drive confronted two males smoking marijuana in the stairwell. 

"He followed the males into the parking lot and was sprayed with bear spray," read the release. 

The first suspect is described as having a light complexion with blonde hair, thin build, and is approximately 6 feet tall and in his early 20's. He was also wearing grey joggers and a green camo jacket at the time of the incident. 

The second suspect is described as having a light complexion with dark hair, and is approximately 5'7" and in his early 20's. He was wearing a dark jacket at the time of the incident. 

According to the report, suspects fled the scene on foot.
