Airdrie Public Library (APL) announced the launch of their new website in partnership with the Marigold Library System May 13.

"The website is new and modern looking and just really clean and fresh. It's easy to use and intuitive," said Kelly Kirkpatrick-Lauzon, the operations manager at APL.

The website was designed to improve functionality and to make it easier to use, according to the library. APL said the website still has all the same information about programs and services, but is now presented in a modern way.

“It has improved functionality, making it more intuitive to use, but with all the same great information about our programs and services, including access to the wide array of eResources our patrons have come to expect,” statement read.

"When you click on any of our programming opportunities that we have here, you get a calendar that you can refine  for age groups. It's quite functional and easy to use," Kirkpatrick-Lauzon said.

Some of the resources available on the new website include, the Alberta Research Portal, cloudLibrary and Flipster. These services offer everything from their collection of online resources, eBooks, eAudiobooks and digital magazines.

The library is looking for user feedback, with participants being entered in a draw for dinner at Abe's Modern Diner.
