As part of its activities for Fire Prevention Week, the Airdrie Fire Department hosted its annual ATCO Fire Safety Day Oct. 5 at the Chinook Winds fire station.
The event included various interactive activities and demonstrations for attendees to learn about proper fire protection. Tours of the department's fire engines and photo opportunities with National Fire Protection Association mascot Sparky the Fire Dog were also available.
