Spruce Kings down Terriers to stay undefeated at Canadian junior A championship

BROOKS, Alta. — Ben Brar had a goal and an assist on Wednesday as the Prince George Spruce Kings stayed undefeated at the Canadian junior A hockey championship with a 5-1 win over the Portage Terriers in their final round-robin game.

Dylan Anhorn, Chong Min Lee, Nolan Welsh and Nick Poisson also scored for Prince George (3-0-0). Dustin Manz had two assists.

Braden Billaney had the lone goal for the Terriers (0-3-0) in the third period.

Spruce Kings goaltenders Logan Neaton and Keenan Rancier combined on 12 saves. Portage's Nathan Moore stopped 39 shots.
