WHL: Beck Warm perfect as Edmonton Oil Kings blank Red Deer Rebels 4-0

RED DEER, Alta. — Beck Warm stopped all 26 shots he faced as the Edmonton Oil Kings blanked the Red Deer Rebels 4-0 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Riley Sawchuk's power-play winner 8:02 into the game was the eventual winner for the Oil Kings (41-10-10), while Carter Souch, Dylan Guenther and David Kope also scored.

Ethan Anders turned aside 31 shots for Red Deer (22-32-5).

Edmonton went 1 for 2 on the power play and the Rebels were 0 for 5 with the man advantage.

CHIEFS 4 AMERICANS 3 (SO)

SPOKANE, Wash. — Brad Ginnell scored the shootout winner as the Chiefs edged Tri-City.

Ty Smith had two goals in regulation time for Spokane (37-18-5) and Luke Toporowski also scored.

Landon Roberts, Blake Stevenson and Edge Lambert supplied the offence for the Americans (17-36-6).

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — Max Paddock had an 18-shot performance as the Raiders shut out Saskatoon.

Kaiden Guhle, Justin Nachbaur and Daniil Stepanov scored for Prince Albert (33-17-9).

Nolan Maier turned aside 40 shots for the Blades (31-23-5).

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. — Mads Sogaard stopped all 18 shots he faced as the Tigers kept Regina off the scoreboard.

Lukas Svejkovsky and Corson Hopwo scored for Medicine Hat (37-19-3).

Donovan Buskey made 40 saves for the Pats (20-33-6).

WARRIORS 4 BRONCOS 2

SWIFT CURRENT, Alta. — Tate Popple's goal near the midway point of the second period was the eventual winner as Moose Jaw doubled the Broncos.

Logan Doust, Ryder Korczak and Calder Anderson rounded out the attack for the Warriors (14-39-4).

Aiden Bulych and Kye Buchanan scored for Swift Current (10-45-4).

WHEAT KINGS 4 HURRICANES 3

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. — Cole Reinhardt's power-play goal 9:48 into the third period lifted Brandon over the Hurricanes.

Ridly Greig, Connor Gutenberg and Marcus Sekundiak also scored for the Wheat Kings (34-21-6).

Dylan Cozens had all three goals for Lethbridge (36-16-7).

KENT, Wash. — Seth Jarvis had a hat trick as Portland downed Seattle.

Lane Gilliss, Kishaun Gervais and Robbie Fromm-Delorme chipped in for the Winterhawks (42-10-7).

Ryan Gottfried, Conner Bruggen-Cate and Owen Williams scored for the Thunderbirds (23-30-7).

KAMLOOPS, B.C. — Brodi Stuart put away the first-period winner as the Blazers toppled Prince George.

Max Martin, Zane Franklin, Orrin Centazzo, Logan Stankoven and Quinn Schmiemann also scored for Kamloops (37-17-4).

Vladislav Mikhalchuk, Majid Kaddoura and Brendan Boyle scored for the Cougars (17-34-8).

EVERETT, Wash. — Ethan Regnier struck twice as the Silvertips beat Kelowna.

Jackson Berezowski and Bryce Kindopp had the other goals for Everett (43-12-4).

Jonas Peterek scored for the Rockets (27-27-6).

VICTORIA — Tristen Nielsen had the eventual winner as Vancouver skated past the Royals.
