LAWRENCE, Clifford Harold

March 8, 1960 – Regina, Saskatchewan

August 3, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta

 

Clifford Lawrence, beloved husband of Carolyn (Carol) (nee Park), of Airdrie, AB, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at the age of 63 years.

 

Cliff was born in Regina, SK, on March 8, 1960, and moved to Calgary as a young boy. He would meet his future wife Carol in 1980 and they would marry in 1984. Cliff, Carol, and their children would live in Calgary, Okotoks, St. Albert and would eventually settle in Airdrie in 2003.

 

Cliff enjoyed camping, fishing, cruising, golfing, and spending time with friends and family. He will be most remembered for his easy-going nature and his sense of humor which will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. Cliff also had a wonderful, adventurous spirit which would lead him and Carol to travel to over 20 countries together, scuba diving and exploring wherever they were.

 

Besides his loving wife, Cliff is survived by his daughter Brittany Kathryn Reid (Kyle), son Matthew Joseph Lawrence (Hunter), and grandson Carter Joseph Lawrence. He is also survived by his five brothers, Alan Lawrence, Phil Lawrence, Greg Lawrence (Carrie), Geoff Lawrence, and Ricky (Connie) Lawrence; sister Susan Lawrence and adoptive mother Elaine Lawrence, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

 

Cliff was predeceased by his biological mother Gwendolyn Copeland (nee Young) and adoptive father Robert Lawrence.

 

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive) on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Airdrie Cemetery. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed at www.MHFH.com.
