The Airdrie Rotary Festival of Performing Arts is hosting a showcase ceremony and concert on April 27 featuring performances from all participants followed by scholarship presentations at the Polaris Theatre.

Festival coordinator Jennifer Harbour says the 10-day event has received positive feedback, and the showcase gives a chance for the public to support the young performers following the end of the event on April 25.

"The students have been practicing so hard to enhance their skills, and they have given us some really great work," said Harbour.

General admission is $20, and youth admission is $10. Doors will open at 6:30 PM MDT, and the concert begins at 7:00 PM.
